Hattitude is
Hattitude Hats Off to Women is a partnership of organizations
whose members are movers and shakers in and around Fort Worth, Texas. We join hands to celebrate women and the contributions women have made.
We create a diverse calendar
of innovative programs, special events and activities to honor women
throughout the month of March - International Women's History Month.
Our Mission
To celebrate Women's HERStory Month with a tip of the hat to women for all their accomplishments, and their invincible spirit in building Fort Worth and Tarrant County.
History
Hattitude began at the Fort Worth Public Library
in 2001. Organizations across the area joined the Library creating a partnership to celebrate the contributions of women and to:
Raise awareness regarding the significant contributions women
have made in our community, nationally, and globally.
Promote women-focused educational, informational, and
entertaining programs.
Provide opportunities for women to network with other women.
Library Archives
The Fort Worth Library has established a Women's Archive that represents
women's
roles in Fort Worth and Tarrant County.
Donations are welcome, including correspondence,
photographs, journals, periodicals, pamphlets, scrapbooks and/or newspaper
clippings. If you would like to donate or know anyone interested in supporting the
Women's Archive, contact the Fort Worth Public Library at 817-871-7740 or
